Strengthening the Quality and Impact of the Indian Journal of Natural Products

V.K. Dixit

The Indian Journal of Natural Products is committed for publishing high-quality, scientifically rigorous, and impactful research that advances knowledge in the field of natural products and related areas. Maintaining these standards is central to the journal’s mission and to serving our authors, reviewers and the readership. We wish to inform our contributors and readers that there has been a delay in the publication schedule of the journal. The primary reason for this delay has been a paucity of high-quality manuscripts suitable for publication following the journal’s rigorous peer-review and editorial assessment process. We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and readers during this period. At the same time, we encourage researchers working in natural products, phytochemistry, pharmacognosy, natural product chemistry, ethnopharmacology, and allied disciplines to submit their original research, reviews, and other high-quality scholarly contributions to the journal. We particularly welcome well-designed studies with clear research questions, robust methodology, appropriate statistical analysis, and meaningful scientific outcomes. Contributions that offer novel insights into natural products and their chemistry, biological activities, mechanisms, standardization, safety, and potential applications are especially encouraged. We look forward to receiving a greater number of high-quality submissions and to resuming a regular and timely publication schedule. We thank our academic community for its continued support and look forward to your valuable contributions to the Indian Journal of Natural Products.
