    The 9th International Symposium on Language and Knowledge Engineering (LKE24) was held in Dublin, Ireland. It was organized by the School of Enterprise Computing and Digital Transformation of the Technological University Dublin, Grangegorman Campus. More details about the conference can be found at https://lkesymposium.tudublin.ie/index.html.

    LKE 2024 aimed to be the forum for exchanging scientific results and experiences, as well as sharing new knowledge, and increasing the co-operation between research groups in natural language processing and related areas.

    This section consists of selected papers presented at the Symposium in the track 2 on Scholarly Information Processing.

    Guest editors for this section are: David Pinto, Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, Mexico and Fernando Perez Tellez, Technological University Dublin, Ireland
